Dia de Muertos is a rich tradition in Mexico celebrated the first and second of November. No where can you fully experience this festivity than in the center of Mexico, particularly in the state of Michoacan. I traveled to Mexico and visited Mexico City, Morelia Michoacan, Patzcuaro Michoacan and Tzintzuntzan Michoacan. Locals and visitors flock to makeup artists for colorful face representations of the Catrina. Here are a few of my favorites.
